
Mthandazo- Chairperson
Mthandazo is a heritage practitioner, Librarian, educator, and community development leader with experience in academic institutions, municipalities, libraries, and the museum sector. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology, and an Honours Degree in Development Studies from University of Western Cape, as well as a PGCE in Teaching from University of South Africa.
He currently serves in a managerial role at the George Museum and is the chairperson of Sakhisizwe Digital Education, where he leads initiatives focused on digital literacy, robotics, innovation, 4IR education, and youth development. Driven by a passion for innovation and community empowerment, his profession background spans administration, public engagement, heritage education, literacy development, and transformative learning initiatives across academic and public sector environments.
