Saziso Matiwane – Board Member

I hold a Master of Business Administration Degree(MBA) from UNISA School of Business Leadership(SBL). I am currently serving as a University Council Member(Board member) at Cape Peninsula University of Technology(CPUT) since November 2019. To this end, I was reappointed on 01 October 2022 as a Council member till August 2026. I am also a Council Member(Board member) at False Bay College since 01 March 2025 until 30 May 2029.

As a result of the aforesaid, I also serving as a member of the Governance and Ethics Committee and as well as Finance Committee, which are committees of council at CPUT and as well as Audit and Risk Committee and Academic Board which are committees of council at False Bay College.

In this regard, I bring experience, knowledge and expertise in strategic planning. performance of the oversight role and granular detail relating to governance processes due to my 14 years work experience in the auditing, risk management and compliance fields
